Emergency Relief to Flood Affected Sylhet
Due to heavy rainfall in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, the flood waters of Surma, Kushiyara and other rivers overflow, causing severe flooding in greater Sylhet.
This year, many roads, houses and crop-lands have gone under water as a result of that. Approximately 20 lac flood-hit people of Sylhet has gone through shortages of drinking water and food.
From MGI, we always stand for the people who suffer from natural disaster like this. This year, we have distributed 10,000 liters of ‘Super Fresh Drinking Water’ to 650 flood affected people in Zakiganj, Sylhet.
