Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ) is the first private economic zone in Bangladesh, situated at the bank of the mighty Meghna River in Sonargaon Upazila of Narayanganj District. It has been developed on 245 acres of land, which is fully occupied by various companies for industrial construction and operations. MEZ is equipped with all essential utility facilities, including electricity from its own captive power plant, natural gas from TITAS, and surface water treated by the WTP and distributed throughout the entire economic zone. The zone also features its own ETP and fire safety systems to ensure environmental compliance.
