Meghna Aviation Limited

Meghna Aviation Limited, an enterprise of MGI, was established in 2011. The aviation enterprise started its first operation in 2012 intending to provide corporate air transportation to Meghna Industrial Areas. Later, Chairman & Managing Director of MGI, Mr. Mostafa Kamal decided to increase the service, hence, inducted state-of-the-art modern helicopters that can contribute to emergency services like Emergency Medical Evacuation flights and also Chartered air transportation from remote areas in Bangladesh. On a similar note of expansion, he also employed highly skilled professional ex-military pilots and engineers to operate these helicopters with international standards (ICAO& EASA) and recommended practices. Thus, Meghna Aviation Limited is now a leading commercial helicopter service provider in Bangladesh with an average of operating eighty flights monthly. There are six helicopters Bell-429, Bell-505, Bell-407 GXI, Bell-407 GX and two Robinson 66. These helicopters can undertake any aerial flight that our customer can demand. With the inclusion of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) certified Bell 429 helicopters including abroad trained Pilots and Engineers, Meghna Aviation Limited now can carry out chartered flights day and night inside Bangladesh.

To support operations, Meghna Aviation Limited has one of the largest hangar facility at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with 16000 sq.ft of space, 8700 sq ft of tarmac (for takeoff and landing) and a 4200 sq ft of office area with independent fire protection system and electrical power. Additionally, it may also be noted that to provide medical services to a patient from remote areas to the modern hospitals in Dhaka or so, Meghna Aviation has recently inducted a modern ground ambulance fitted with all life-saving equipment, with two professional and air experienced highly trained and licensed Paramedics.

Medical Evacuation

Meghna Aviation Limited provides the best helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) for air ambulance facilities 24/7 for any emergency medical evacuation for all types of patients. With the modern brand-new Bell 429 twin-engine helicopter, patients can be evacuated from any place at day and from any active airport to another airport at night. Bell 407 GX and 407 GXI helicopters can be used for most economic medical evacuation from sunrise to sunset. Meghna Aviation has all kinds of medical equipment required for medical evacuation including its ground ambulance. The EMS equipment is on board according to the patient’s requirements. Meghna Aviation has two highly efficient medical professionals (Paramedic) who have experience of evacuating more than 500 medical patients in the last 5 years. On board Medical expert takes professional care during the medical evacuation in the helicopter in flight.

Private Charter

Meghna Aviation has the most luxurious state of the art brand-new helicopters in her fleet to meet all types of demand from valuable clients. Private charter is designed according to the passenger numbers, flight duration, day or night time, IFR or VFR, single or multi engines. Flying with Meghna is not only comfortable but also very safe and luxurious. Chartering for passengers’ flight includes the following:

• Corporate flying
• Celebration flight for birthday, anniversary
• Day tour to any places like Historical place , Resorts or special landmarks etc
• Scenic flight over Dhaka city, Cox’s Bazar, Sundarban or Kuakata, etc
• Flight for aerial photography and filming (Prior Approval is required from CAAB)
• Carry coffins (for dead body) to anyplace in Bangladesh
• By helicopter transfer medical patient from any place of Bangladesh to any airlines for flying to India, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia in coordination with other agencies.
